The League

The Triangle Lacrosse League is for all players ages 18 and up in the Triangle or surrounding areas. We aim to provide a community based league that is competitive and fun for all.

 

All games are officiated, and we have a strict zero-tolerance policy for douchebaggery. All is fun in a tight game, but keep it classy. We are here for a good time and have work in the morning.

 

Whether you're signing up with a team or as a free agent, you get to compete with people in your local community who share the same passion for the game as you do. 

Registration instructions:

1. Click on the select group drop-down.

2. Select which team option you want.

  • If you are signing up with a team, you can click on your team and enter the code your captain gave you.

  • If you want to create a team email TriangleLacrosseLeague@gmail.com to setup your squad. 

  • If you don't have a team and want to sign up as a free agent, select the Free Agent option.​

League details:

  • 4K pictures and highlights filmed and posted weekly

  • Championship trophy

  • Concessions

  • Standings and schedules posted weekly via Instagram and the website

  • 7-8 games + playoffs

  • NCAA rules

  • Fields are located at Pleasant Park in Apex NC

  • 12-minute running time quarters (the last 2 minutes of the 2nd and 4th quarters are stoppage time)

  • 1 minute in between quarters and 4 minutes in between halves

  • Overtime rules

    • 8v8 - 2 Att / 2 Def / 3 Mid / 1 G​​​

    • 5-minute sudden-death overtime 

      • If the game is still tied at the end of overtime, the game will go to a penalty shootout. Each team will get three shots from 14 yards. May the best shooters win. ​

  • Player of the night award ​​​​is awarded to the most impressive performance of the night
